Jennifer Reason - Pianist
Hailed by German critics as a pianist "in the league of Carnegie Hall," a "rising star" whose playing is "lush, sensual and colorful: like a painting" (Sulzbach-Rosenberger), Jennifer Reason is a vibrant young performer in consistent demand, and the recipient of Sacramento Business Journal's Top 40 Under 40 award for 2016. Recently she completed her 8th international tour, including twice appearing as a soloist to critical acclaim at the Interharmony International Music Festival in Germany, as well as at the Schlern and Orfeo International Music Festivals in Italy. She has also twice appeared in an ensemble setting at Carnegie Hall, as well as the Vatican, the Liszt Academy in Hungary, and the international Festival of Peace and Brotherhood in Italy. Jennifer, a stunning and versatile performer of various styles of music from Classical to New Music, Jazz to Pop, and Broadway to Gospel, with an unsurpassed prowess and finesse, will invite you into her world of beauty and excitement. She’s not to be missed!!

The Great American Songbook interpreted by the Tim Meltz Trio
The Great American Song Book as interpreted by, Joe Gilman, piano; George Ban-Weiss, bass; Tim Metz, Drums; and Casey Lipka, vocals, will take you on a musical journey through some of the most classic songs ever written. Featuring compositions by George & Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin, the Songbook is in good hands with this stellar group. Joe Gilman is one of the most respected pianists and educators in the country. George Ban-Weiss, a highly engaged bass player, can be heard on many jazz albums and video games. Casey Lipka, a stunning vocalist, is an amazing songwriter in her own right, and Tim Metz has played with some of the leading lights of the international jazz scene.

Jessica Malone - Instrumentalist and Vocalist
Jessica Malone is a talented musician, with a unique songwriting style and a powerful soothing voice. Guitar, ukulele, violin, upright bass and drums are among the instruments accompanying Jessica's intoxicating vocals to create a one of a kind California travelin’  folk jazz sound that takes you back in time while heartfelt and relevant lyrics keep you rooted in the present. Jessica, singer-songwriter-ukulele folk stress will open for folk legend Arlo Guthrie at Mondavi Center this April. “The music that I create is sort of a combination of all the things I’ve listened to in my life, and how that’s soaked in, and become part of who I am. Music brings people together,” she says. “I write a lot about love, feeling good and being true to yourself – my music is authentic and it can spread love and joy.” It’s raw, rootsy Americana, with elements of rock, jazz and pop, and electric guitar, fiddle, trumpet and even a Hammond organ.

Youth Concert
The Davis High School Baroque Ensemble has been featured nationally for its unique nature and the model it represents for other public school music programs, as it is the first group of its kind at the high school level in the country. The period style instruments allow the unique style of the era to be further developed making the overall performance experience more historically accurate and engaging for the student musicians as well as our audiences. Angelo Moreno, the director of the DHSBE, has received numerous awards for his contribution to education. He has been featured in several national & regional publications. DHSBE performed at the Berkeley Baroque Festival for 2 years and touring Europe, this year, completing their 2nd major international tour starting in Vienna and ending in Italy. This 35 piece orchestra will hypnotize and delight your musical senses.

Sixteen-year-old baritone Davis Mahoney has thrilled audiences with a voice so rich and dynamic, you won’t believe your ears. As winner of the Asya Pleskach Scholarship, and the invitation to sing a solo with the Sacramento Mastersingers, Davis continues to receive opportunities to sing professionally throughout the region. Davis has been singing opera solos, choral pieces, classical, gospel, and Broadway and standards for eleven years. You don’t want to miss this up-and-coming young talent. One day you will say “I heard him on his way up”.

Marlynn Smith - Vocalist
“A voice of amazing beauty, great strength and superb control. Her highs are bell-like, her trills thrilling with an ability to convey the emotion of the aria with confidence and warmth. At the end of her performance my goose bumps had goose bumps.” (Sacramento Bee). Ms. Smith, an internationally known versatile vocalist has at her command a full range of musical styles that include opera, classical, Broadway and spirituals. She has performed throughout Europe with world-renowned orchestras such as the Berliner Symphoniker, the Poland Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Symphony Orchestra, and has toured throughout Italy in Porgy & Bess. With beauty, grace, and that bell-like voice, she will transport you to another world.

Reconciliation Singers Voice of Peace (RSVP) 
RSVP is a unique and versatile vocal ensemble whose mission is to bring people together through the arts and give back to the community. Many members of RSVP are professional musicians. This, and the innovative creativity of RSVP’s Artistic Director, Jennifer Reason, results in deeply inspiring performances. RSVP nurtures the community with its highly-praised, dynamic concerts while providing concrete financial contributions that continue to make a difference long after the applause
